Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Service Writer for a Conley, GA-based firm. THIS IS A TEMP-TO-PERM POSITION! You will train on 1st shift but work 2nd shift hours!!!!

Role and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily interaction with Technicians / Road Service Technicians and customers.
• Daily reports and yard checks from road service and follow up on customer requests and quotes for repairs
• Ability to research repair parts and prepare repair quotes.
• Order repair parts. Schedule repairs and inspections.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
• Assist with parts inventory and verify posting of parts on service and counter parts sales tickets.
• Maintain warranty parts, ship parts to warranty as determined by warranty admin.
• Purge warranty parts as allowed per warranty policy procedure manual.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to multi-task, follow directives, answer multiple phones lines, work independently, and work under pressure of deadlines.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
• Maintain clean and Sanitary workspace and common shared areas along with other staff.
• Maintain service writer certifications
• Maintain updates and data entered into white board for service department.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School / GED / Trade School

Preferred Skills:

• Previous Parts Experience
• Computer Knowledge including IBM i (AS400) / Excel / Word
• Strong Customer Service, organizational and communication skills.
