Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducts comprehensive inspections of residential, multi-family, and commercial exterior remodeling projects, including windows, doors, siding, roofing, framing, and decking, to ensure quality craftsmanship and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identifies and documents any defects, inconsistencies, or potential issues with completed or ongoing work. Provides actionable recommendations and solutions to resolve identified concerns promptly.
  • Ensures that all projects adhere to local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations. Maintains current knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards to ensure compliance throughout all stages of construction.
  • Performs specialized testing activities as required, including water testing, adhesion testing, and structural integrity evaluations, to verify the performance and durability of materials and installations.
  • Accurately documents all inspection findings, including detailed notes, photos, and completed forms. Inputting relevant data into project management applications/software for future reference and project tracking.
  • Collaborates with Project Managers, construction teams, Field Supervisors, and other applicable stakeholders to communicate inspection results and ensure necessary corrective actions are taken promptly. Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stays informed of new technologies, materials, and industry best practices. Assists in the development and delivery of training for other team members regarding quality standards and inspection protocols.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required. A relevant bachelors degree or certification(s) is preferred.
  • Required to obtain OSHA 30 certification within the first 60 days of hire. Possessing certification prior to hire is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in exterior construction inspection, quality control, or a related field within the residential, multi-family, or commercial sectors.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office and Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and cloud-based project management platforms.
  • A valid, non-restrictive drivers license.
