Job Description

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, similar field OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security/Information Technology
• 3+ years of SOC experience to include threat detection/monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, reporting/documentation, etc

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, or other industry certifications

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Manager for a large financial company in Lincoln, NE to assist in the support of the United States Dept. of Education. Working a hybrid schedule of 3-days onsite, the Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for leading a team in the implementing and monitoring adherence to the established IT security policies, procedures, and standards. With their SOC background, they'll be implementing IT security tools and technology to support security processes and performing periodic security assessments and control review to assess the effectiveness of network security, web security, host-based security, application-level security, and database security.
