Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team. This role requires expertise in fine finishing, including cabinetry and woodwork, and the ability to manage a spray booth efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a leader in the shop, capable of managing a team and ensuring top-quality finishes. Additionally, this role requires flexibility to work both in the shop spray booth and on-site as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage a spray booth to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Lead and manage a team in the shop, overseeing workflow and quality control.
• Spray a variety of finishes, including post-catalyzed lacquers, pre-catalyzed lacquers, and water-based materials .
• Use and maintain spray equipment, including pot guns, air-assisted airless guns, and airless guns .
• Ensure proper surface preparation, including sanding, priming, and masking.
• Work on-site as needed to spray cabinetry, trim, and other high-end finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of spray finishing experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in using various spray guns and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of lacquers, stains, and coatings.
  • Experience managing a spray booth and leading a team.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Must be flexible to work both in the shop and on-site as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
