Job Description

We"re looking for a guide for our boys who are currently home from their bi-lingual montessori due to covid risk.

Need is 40hrs/wk (M-F, day hours) for at least 6 months, starting asap between now and end-Sept, through at least around Feb/March. Contract options for 6-, 9-, and 12- months, to be discussed with applicants.

Additionally:
- Covid vaccination required, as well as someone who is practicing ongoing caution
- We will work with you to ensure our home environment supports age-appropriate exploration and learning, and will purchase recommended work or items for you to use as needed
- Mandarin Chinese speaker preferred, to maintain exposure to the language for the boys (mom and dad speak English)
- CPR/First Aid training required (we will pay for you to take the online course if needed)
- we"re offering $500 referral bonus if you"re not a fit but we hire someone you connect us with

Salary: $45,000-60,000 annually ($22-30/hr, based on experience), professional pay through a payroll service. Includes a week of paid vacation and 3 sick days for every 6 months of employment.

If you used to be a teacher but stepped away due to Covid, we might be the perfect family for you. We are on the "very safe" end of the caution spectrum these days - we order groceries and the only building we"ve been in is the doctor office for occasional routine visits for the kids, to keep them up on vaccinations and check ups. Mom and dad both work from home and plan to continue from home for at least the next 6 months.

A bit more about us - we"re a Christian family who loves music, playing outside, and we"re generally laid back. The boys are sweet and a ton of fun - both still currently take a nap from about 1-230p each day, and the older one has been potty trained for over a year.
