MP Consulting is seeking a self-motivated and passionate employee to join our dynamic and growing team as a Marketing Manager. We are looking for a team member who possesses an energetic blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and leadership to immediately take on meaningful projects supporting our key business objectives. The role is perfect for entry-level individuals looking to enter the marketing profession and learn the different aspects of digital marketing by working with small business clients in many different industries.

This role will give you the opportunity to create an immediate and lasting impact as you manage multiple client accounts. You will enjoy this role if you prefer a hands-off working environment but still have the support of a local team to back you up and push you forward. You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about helping people succeed!

Highly qualified team members will be those who have developed transferrable skills such as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and persuasive communication. MPC will provide training on all marketing services so you feel comfortable and confident in your role.

The Marketing Manager should be located in or around the Nashville, Tennessee area and be available to meet with the MPC team and with clients on a weekly basis.

Key Qualifications

• Has 0-2 years of marketing experience
• Passionate and willing to take ownership of their work and client relationships
• Engaging individuals dedicated to helping small businesses grow and thrive
• Analytically driven solution developer with persuasive and collaborative communication skills
• Comfortable and skilled in creative copywriting
• Baseline knowledge of the following digital marketing services/channels: Social Media. Email Marketing, Blogging, Graphic Design, Listings and Reputation Management, Digital Advertising, Search Engine Optimization, Website Design, and Website Management
• Creative Thinker. Able to develop new ideas, content, and communication
• Natural Leader. Able to work independently and a motivated self-starter
• Constant Learner. Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement

The Marketing Manager should expect to succeed in the following areas:

• Marketing Strategy Development

• Develop an understanding of a client’s business model and key objectives
• Collaborate with clients to create effective omnichannel marketing strategies through the following channels: Social Media, Email, Paid Ads, SEO, Graphic Design, Website, and more.
• Be bold and creative in identifying new tools or processes to enhance our client’s marketing
• Lead the product development, rollout, and execution of our client initiatives
• Own our relationship with clients and become their trusted marketing strategist

• Marketing and Data Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of prospective client marketing processes, SEO, strategies, and systems to identify potential business growth solutions
• Explore client marketing data to discover insights that can be used to guide clients in making effective business decisions
• Data-driven analysis of consumer and client data to detect advertising, communications, and promotional trends.

• Business Development

• Put your entrepreneurial spirit to work and seek out opportunities to grow our business
• Become an ambassador for our firm in public settings and identify small businesses that could use our help managing and growing their own businesses
• Learn what small businesses struggle with and arm them with solutions
• Develop your own book of business so you equitably grow as we grow
