Youth on Course (YOC) is a nationally recognized non-profit based in Monterey, CA serving more than 195,000 youth through subsidized rounds of golf, high school internships, caddie programs, and college scholarships. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and have a presence in all 50 states, Canada, and Australia. It is supported with nearly 2,000 golf course partners and more than 8,000 unique donors.
Position : Member Success Coordinator
Status : Non-Exempt
Reports to : Director, Marketing Analytics & Member Success
POSITION SUMMARY: The Member Success Coordinator is an entry level position is responsible for assisting with all customer related functions for Youth On Course including phone, chat, and email support, data analysis, reporting, and clean-up, digital advertising, communications, and sales, and other customer related functions. This position works closely between the Youth On Course tech, marketing, and programs departments. This position will receive direct supervision and work collaboratively with all YOC staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide enthusiastic service to YOC members and partners via phone, chat, and email communication.
- Conceptualize, compose, send, and analyze successful Membership and Course communications (SMS and Email) in Hubspot. Engage with members and courses creatively to promote growth and engagement.
- Daily review of YOC Member and Alumni data to provide regular maintenance, cleanup, and reporting.
- Seek opportunities to execute automated Member and Course specific communications (SMS and Email) to improve operational efficiency of member opportunities and course partners.
- Suggest and implement improvements to the Youth on Course / Hubspot knowledge base to improve the performance of AI tools / Youth on Course Birdie Bot
- Provide support to YOC members across all channels.
- Master an understanding of the YOC ecosystem to ensure proper communications to YOC partners and members (including courses, golf associations, donors, members, and more).
- Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
- Other duties as assigned, including professional development.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate's Degree
- Fluency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc.)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to be a team player.
- Good people skills and high level of customer service.
- Comfortable with technology and a willingness to learn and complete Salesforce and / or Hubspot Training Certificates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree
- Strong familiarity with golf.
- A passion for helping youth gain access to life-changing opportunities.
WORK SCHEDULE: - Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a full-time, Non-Exempt position, with a start salary range of $21.50 - $24.50 per hour. Some clothing will be provided, with the employee expected to source and maintain a high-standard of attire at all times. Benefit package includes health, dental and vision insurance. Dependents may be added with premiums paid by the employee. Participation in the company's 401k plan after one full year of employment. PTO, holidays, meals, and golf benefits also included. AEG
