Multimedia Production Specialist

exploreMedia is a fast-growing digital marketing and publishing company based in Montgomery, Alabama. We are seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist to develop, produce, and edit compelling video, podcast, and photography content using a mix of original footage, high-quality stock assets, and professional audio recording techniques. The ideal candidate is a storyteller with strong production skills, capable of crafting content for TV commercials, digital advertising, podcasts, and branded storytelling across multiple platforms.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills to handle end-to-end production of video, audio, and photography content in offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The primary focus will be on video production, but the role will also involve developing and producing podcasts (both audio and video formats) and capturing high-quality photography for various digital platforms. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pre-Production & Ideation: Develop creative video and podcast concepts, scripts, and storyboards. Plan and execute shoots, managing lighting, sound, and set preparation.
  • Production (Video & Audio/Podcasts): Film and record high-quality video and audio content, incorporating stock footage and professional sound design as needed.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit video and audio content using industry-standard software, adding motion graphics, transitions, and effects.
  • Photography: Capture and edit high-quality images for marketing, events, and editorial use.
  • Project Management & Optimization: Manage production timelines, ensure content meets platform specifications, and adapt content for TV, social media, streaming, and digital platforms.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience in video/audio production and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong skills in lighting, cinematography, and directing talent.
  • Ability to record, edit, and mix high-quality audio/video.
  • Experience with TV, OTT, social media, and podcasts.
  • Photography skills: shooting, editing, and retouching.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for on-location shoots.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & CHARACTERISTCS:

ENCOURAGED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Motion Graphic experience with Adobe After Effects
  • Color grading and color correction
  • Studio/set design

Pay Structure:

This salaried position is an entry to mid-level position with quarterly bonuses. Our benefits package includes Blue Cross-Blue Shield Group Health & Dental, paid holiday and vacation time, along with a 4% matching 401K program.

  • Yearly Salary: $45K - $50K paid bi-monthly based on experience
  • Bonus opportunities dependent on business drivers range from $4-8K/year and begin after six-month probationary period
