Title: Network Engineer

Location: Irving TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer who specializes in integrating Apple devices with wireless access points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will ensure seamless wireless connectivity for macOS, iOS, and other Apple devices in enterprise environments, handling tasks such as designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain wireless networks for Apple devices.
• Optimize wireless performance for Apple devices by analyzing their interaction with WAPs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to Apple devices and wireless access points.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement network policies tailored to Apple devices.
• Conduct performance testing (site surveys, signal analysis, bandwidth) to optimize wireless networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot WAPs, controllers, and related equipment.
• Monitor network logs for performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on Apple OS and wireless technology to recommend improvements.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide troubleshooting support for clients’ connectivity issues.
• Maintain configuration templates for WAPs.
• Understand authentication protocols for secure network access.

Required Skills:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of wireless networking fundamentals.

Additional Skills:

• Experience managing Apple device deployments (macOS, iOS).
• Familiarity with cloud-managed wireless solutions like Cisco Meraki or Aruba Central.

Education and Experience:

• Education : Bachelor's degree (4 years).
• Experience : 5+ years in network engineering, 5+ years of management experience.
• Certifications : Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification.
