This marks a new beginning for voice as the world's default interface. We will all want voice everywhere. Businesses are not ready. Products are not ready. We're building out the founding team in-person in SF to scale what's working Mission We're seeking to add a handful of motivated, hungry early career software engineers to our team at Vapi AI! Early career engineers with us will dive straight into production work, operating alongside and learning from a team of world-class engineers. Competencies Experience with Typescript, React, Node or other software development frameworks Communication: You can clearly articulate what's going on to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Cracked-ness: You're more cracked than the most cracked person on the team Organization: You naturally gravitate toward building systems that stand the test of time Startup Ready: You have a reason to be here and can make sacrifices for something uncertain Founder Juice: New ideas come from you, you build it yourself or annoy everyone until it's done ;) Qualifications Recently graduated with a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field Quicker learner: You can rapidly ramp up on what a customer's use case and requirements are in order to provide immediate value Self-starter: You take initiative to get shit done and figure out what's the highest value thing to do Bonus: Interest in one day becoming a technical founder of a B2B SaaS company VAPI
