Our Warehousers are an essential part of our supply chain team. You will work as part of a team to coordinate warehouse operations and complete workflows according to schedule. This is a great opportunity for an individual to be part of an amazing team.
Job Description
- Assist in shipping or receiving when needed
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Move items to appropriate areas
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into the computer database
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists, and distributing them as required
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Responsible for safely operating the warehouse machinery and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all Client Company and HSE policies and procedures

FACILITY/GROUP-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle
- Ability to work with heavy equipment
- Capability to learn on the job and apply
- Ensures availability of material on the assembly floor for all capital builds
- Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor
Skills Required
- Reads and writes in English
- Two years of previous warehouse experience
- Uses office copier to scan and copy documentation
- May use other business systems (ERP/MRP)
- Uses company software to include Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Writes, sends, and receives emails from internal Client employees and external Customers
Top Required Skills:
- Must have a forklift, man lift, and reach truck experience
- Must have general warehouser knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must have proficient basic math skills with the ability to perform counts
- Must have proficient communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking efficiently
- Must have previous exposure to cycle counting
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must be punctual with minimal attendance issues. Able to report to work on time every day
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Able to operate an MSCA (Oracle) Gun
- Operates both JIB and Overhead cranes
- Must be able to lift to 45 pounds safely
- Uses office copier and copy documentation
- Wears a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heights
- Uses company software to include Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Writes, sends, and receives Emails to internal Customers/Client/Employees
- Operates Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker/Manlift/Reach truck)
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED

- Wears proper PPE while in the warehouse

- Able to read and understand all JHAs in English
- Adheres to facilities safely policies and attends all monthly safety training
- Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning CBT
- Limited (less than 5%) travel
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours
- Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse
- Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor
- Must be flexible to work overtime, when needed
- Exposed to occassional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither air-conditioned nor heated
- Work Hours:
- Day Shift. Start time is 6:00 am
- There is an alternating schedule for the shift end times. 2:30 pm will be for one week, including a mandatory 8-hour shift on Saturday. The following week will have an end time of 4:30 pm with no Saturday shift.
Pay Rate/Salary
- $20.90 - $23.90/hr. depending on experience
