Job Title: Workday HCM Implementation Project Manager
Location: Remote
Type: 8-10 months

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Workday HCM Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of Workday across two critical phases. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization. The client is currently completing Phase I (Timekeeping, Absence Management, and Scheduling), with a go-live date of April 6th. This phase is in the final stretch and requires a pragmatic approach to "get it done and over with." The PM will transition into full ownership of Phase II, which includes Recruiting, Core HCM, and Payroll, with a go-live target of October 1st.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between the client, Workday consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the completion of Phase I, ensuring a smooth transition from the current implementation team.
• Drive Phase II as a new implementation from scratch, as prior discovery, user stories, and business process documentation need to be revalidated or redone.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Provide technical leadership, including hands-on configuration, data migration, and integration oversight.
• Work closely with PeopleSoft (current ERP) teams to ensure accurate data transfer and a clean system transition until Phase II go-live.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, manage change, and ensure end-user adoption.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability across HR, Finance, and IT.
• Develop and execute a cutover plan for both phases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Must Have Skillsets:

• Proven experience as a Workday HCM Project Manager, leading end-to-end implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking.
• Strong technical background, including data migration, integrations, and configuration.
• Ability to lead discovery sessions, validate business processes, and drive system adoption.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project management skill.
